Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a Software Engineer with solid Java engineering skills, hands-on cloud experience, and practical knowledge of AI-assisted development using Claude. The role will contribute to the development and delivery of software solutions using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, AWS services, relational databases, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud security best practices. The position supports business objectives by contributing to reliable, maintainable, secure, and scalable applications while applying effective engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Develop and maintain software using Java 11 or later and Spring Boot.
Design and implement RESTful APIs.
Use AWS services, including EKS/Kubernetes, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and KMS, as part of application development and delivery.
Apply practical experience with Claude in AI-assisted development activities.
Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines.
Apply infrastructure-as-code practices to support cloud environments.
Follow cloud security best practices throughout development and deployment activities.
Develop and maintain applications that use PostgreSQL and relational databases.
Participate in technical design, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and code review activities.
Collaborate with relevant delivery and engineering stakeholders to understand requirements and complete project work.
Contribute to software quality, maintainability, security, and operational stability.
Identify and address technical issues
