Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP BIM Specialist who has worked extensively across Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing trades. The ideal candidate will lead the development, coordination, and management of complex BIM models for MEP systems, ensuring seamless integration with multidisciplinary teams and adherence to international standards. This role demands solid technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of US/UK codes and practices.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Leadership & Model Management
Lead the creation and management of detailed 3D BIM models for all MEP systems using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Level of Development (LOD) standards, and project requirements.
Coordination & Clash Resolution
Drive coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Conduct advanced clash detection and resolve conflicts using Navisworks Manage.
Documentation & Deliverables
Oversee extraction of accurate construction documents, shop drawings, and MEP schedules from BIM models.




Ensure adherence to US/UK standards (ASHRAE, IPC, UPC, BS Standards).
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
Perform regular model audits and implement QA/QC protocols.
Optimize workflows and introduce automation using Dynamo and other scripting tools.
Technical Mentorship & Team Support
Provide guidance and training to junior BIM engineers.
Support project teams in implementing best practices for BIM and VDC processes.
Client & Project Engagement
Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and client presentations.
Address RFIs and provide technical solutions throughout project lifecycle.

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Civil Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
Experience in MEP BIM modeling and coordination.
Proven track record of working on US/UK projects with multi-trade expertise.
Software Proficiency:
Expert in Auto
