The position is for the Global Family Office located in Mumbai, India, which oversees multiple companies across various industries. Some of these include House of Meraki (Fine Jewellery) and Chillerton Group Limited (Mining).

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing operations across all family-owned businesses, which are based in India, the UK, Zambia, the USA, and other locations.

Title: Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team. The primary duties would include recording all transactions, reconciling accounts, recording day-to-day transactions, and maintain cash book etc. Our ideal candidate should be a self-starter and should have prior experience in Accounting roles.

Responsibilities

- Preparing financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
- Managing payroll
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Entering financial information into tally, Xero software
- Managing company ledgers
- Processing business expenses




- Verifying balances in account books and reconciling discrepancies
- Verifying bank deposits
- Managing day-to-day transactions and Payroll
- Recording office expenditures and ensuring these expenses are within the set budget
- Handling accruals and prepayments
- Managing monthly budgeting tasks
- Encoding accounting entries for data processing
- Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts. Maintaining production details and reconciliation

Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven work experience in a relevant role
- Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
- Solid phone, email and in-person communication skills
