THE ROLE
As a Junior Accountant at Alltex Exim, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, sales and purchase invoicing, GST-related activities, ledger management, journal entries, bank reconciliations, outstanding payment tracking, and financial documentation. You will work closely with internal teams, vendors, customers, and logistics partners to ensure accurate record-keeping, compliance, and smooth financial operations while gaining hands-on exposure to the accounting processes of a growing import-export and trading business.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
● Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and journal entries in Tally.
● Prepare and process sales invoices, purchase invoices, proforma invoices, and related accounting documents.
● Support GST compliance activities, including data preparation, reconciliations, and return filings.
● Track and follow up on customer receivables and vendor payables to ensure timely collections and payments.
● Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
● Generate E-Way Bills and maintain logistics, dispatch,
and shipment-related accounting records.
● Assist in cost tracking, expense monitoring, and maintaining product-wise costing data.
● Prepare periodic MIS reports, outstanding reports, and account reconciliations for management review.
● Ensure proper filing, organization, and audit readiness of all financial and statutory documents.
● Collaborate with internal departments to support smooth and compliant financial operations.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
● 3 -5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and financial record management.
● Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel, with hands-on experience in sales invoicing, purchase invoicing, ledger management, and journal entries.
● Good understanding of GST, E-Way Bills, bank reconciliations, outstanding payment tracking, and statutory documentation.
● Experience in preparing proforma invoices, maintaining financial records, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.
● Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
● A proactive, dependable professional with good communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow in a rapid-paced business environment.
● Experience in import-export, trading, manufacturing, or logistics-related accounting will be an added advantage.
● Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field preferred.
