Role Description The Senior Accountant will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including managing general ledgers, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions.

Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and reports, reconciling accounts, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. The role will also involve monitoring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinating with auditors, and assisting in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support business decisions. This is a full-time, in office position based in Agra,



requiring regular collaboration with management and other internal teams.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting and reporting, including general ledger management, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in taxation, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to Indian accounting and corporate finance.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Microsoft Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
- Ability to perform budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on process improvement and internal controls.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners, including auditors and vendors.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in manufacturing, distribution, or food and nutrition ingredient industries is preferred.
