As a Mechanical Engineering Technician Junior, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation and upkeep of preventive maintenance programs. With no travel requirements, this position is focused on hands-on work and collaboration within the local team, fostering professional growth in a dynamic industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior mechanical engineers and maintenance personnel in executing routine and preventive maintenance tasks to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Support diagnostic activities by collecting data, monitoring equipment performance, and helping troubleshoot mechanical issues using standard tools and techniques.
Participate in the inspection, calibration, and regular servicing of machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, including servicing logs, reports, and parts inventories, contributing to efficient resource planning.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance maintenance processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of protected work practices within the department.
Qualifications and Skills:
A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related technical field is preferred.
