Work Location - Smart City, Kochi, Kerala Role Description The Scrum Master with 1 to 5 years of experience, as a Scrum Master, drives Agile best practices across teams, ensuring consistent adoption of Scrum principles and a culture of continuous improvement. They should facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster collaboration among teams and stakeholders. The role is focused on improving delivery predictability through effective planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and data-driven decision-making.

They should coach teams to become high-performing and self-organizing while leveraging Agile metrics to enhance productivity and delivery outcomes. Additionally, they should provide transparent status reporting and support successful sprint and release execution.

Technical

Competencies

Extensive experience leading Agile Scrum teams and driving adoption of Agile best practices across complex delivery environments.

Expert in facilitating Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to maximize team effectiveness.

Strong ability to coach and mentor Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, fostering high-performing and self-organizing teams.

Proven track record of improving delivery predictability through effective sprint planning, capacity management, risk mitigation, and dependency management.

Expertise in identifying, tracking, escalating,



and removing impediments to ensure uninterrupted sprint execution and achievement of sprint goals.

Skilled in backlog management and partnering with Product Owners to maintain a well-prioritized, refined, and business-aligned product backlog.

Strong analytical capabilities with hands-on experience tracking Agile metrics such as Velocity, Burndown/Burnup, Cycle Time, Lead Time, and Sprint Predictability.

Ability to leverage data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement, enhance team productivity, and optimize delivery performance.

Experience preparing executive-level status reports, sprint dashboards, and governance updates for stakeholders and Program Management teams.

Proficient in managing cross-team dependencies, release planning, and coordination within scaled Agile environments.

Strong focus on process optimization, quality delivery, and ensuring product increments consistently meet Definition of Done (DoD) standards.

Hands-on experience with advanced reporting and dashboarding tools within Jira.

Agile certifications such as PSM (Professional Scrum Master), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent.

Experience in large-scale Agile transformations.
