Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAS SQL Analyst with strong expertise in SAS, SQL, and data analysis. The ideal candidate should have experience in extracting, transforming, analyzing, and validating large datasets while working closely with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. Candidates from the Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services (BFSI) domain will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize SAS programs for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Design and automate MIS reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand reporting and analytical requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Support UAT, production deployments, and issue resolution.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and data mappings.
- Work in an Agile setting and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Base SAS, SAS Macros, SAS Enterprise Guide.
- Advanced SQL programming (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Experience in data extraction, cleansing,



transformation, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience in data analysis and data validation.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and batch processing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services (BFSI) domain.
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SAS Visual Analytics.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting.
- Understanding of Agile methodology and SDLC.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 49 years of relevant experience in SAS and SQL development/analysis.

Nice to Have
- SAS Certification.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Exposure to predictive analytics or statistical modeling.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
