Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled SAS Developer with hands-on experience in Altair SLC and solid database expertise to join our data analytics and reporting team. The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of experience in SAS development, data processing, and reporting solutions, with the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment. The candidate should possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and be comfortable collaborating across offshore and onsite teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance data processing, reporting, and analytics solutions using SAS and Altair SLC.
- Design and optimize SAS programs, macros, stored processes, and batch jobs.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Work closely with business users, data analysts, and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
- Collaborate with data engineers and database teams to integrate data from multiple sources.
- Support production deployments, issue resolution, and performance tuning activities.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, code reviews, and development standards.

Required Skills

- 4-6 years of experience in SAS Development.
- Hands-on experience with Altair SLC (SAS Language Compiler).

- Exposure to data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting for automation.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, or Healthcare domains is an added advantage.
