SAP PI/PO Developer

About the Role

We're looking for an SAP PI/PO Developer to design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP PI/PO technologies.

You'll collaborate with business and functional teams to define integration strategies, create technical documentation, and configure SAP PI/PO components and adapters — troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing interface performance, and ensuring adherence to best practices and security guidelines.

You'll also participate in testing phases, manage multiple projects, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP PI/PO technologies
- Collaborate with business and functional teams to define integration strategies and produce technical documentation
- Configure SAP PI/PO components and adapters
- Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize interface performance
- Ensure adherence to best practices and security guidelines
- Participate in testing phases and manage multiple concurrent projects
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for integration solutions

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. SAP PI/PO certification is a plus.
- Experience: 6 to 9 years of experience in SAP PI/PO development and support, with a proven history of designing complex integration solutions.

Technical Skills




- Strong understanding of integration methodologies and middleware technologies
- Proficiency in SAP PI/PO tools such as ESR, Integration Directory, and Runtime Workbench, with solid knowledge of SAP PI/PO architecture
- Knowledge of integration protocols and data formats, including XML, Web Services, REST, SOAP, HTTP, RFC, and IDoc
- Experience with ABAP enhancements, proxies, RFCs, IDocs, and ALE configuration
- Familiarity with SAP ECC modules such as SD, PP, MM, WM, FICO, PLM, and PS

Desired / Preferred Skills
- Experience integrating SAP, SAP Cloud, and non-SAP Cloud applications with on-premise solutions
- Experience with EDI/cXML and standard formats such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT, along with EDI translators
- Hands-on experience configuring and developing B2B interfaces using SAP B2B Add-on
- Experience with SAP EHP6+, SAP PI 7.31+, and SAP HANA Cloud Platform (SAP BTP)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ABAP, Java, JavaScript, and OData services
- Extensive experience with IDocs and IDoc-based user exits in integration scenarios such as Quote-to-Cash and Record-to-Report
- Familiarity with SAP Workflow and SAP Solution Manager

Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Other Requirements
- Availability for on-call support and occasional travel as needed
