JOB PURPOSE : To serve as the SAP Lead Consultant for the organization, leveraging strong expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and manufacturing business processes to ensure effective utilization, stability, and continuous evolution of the SAP S/4 HANA platform. The role will act as the primary liaison between business functions, SAP support teams, implementation partners, and senior management, providing strategic direction, governance, and leadership for SAP-related initiatives while driving business process excellence and digital transformation across the enterprise.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead end-to-end management and support of SAP S/4 HANA with primary expertise in Production Planning (PP).

- Ensure smooth functioning, stability, and continuous improvement of SAP across all business functions.

- Facilitate implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP PP and its integration with MM, QM, PM, SD, and FICO modules.

- Possess solid expertise in:

- PP End-to-End Business Processes

- Discrete Manufacturing

- Process Manufacturing

- Production Planning & Scheduling

- Capacity Planning

- MRP Planning

- Product Costing

- BOM Management

- Routing Management

- Batch Management

- Production Orders

- Master Data Management





- Analyze manufacturing processes and recommend SAP-driven improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization

- Coordinate and supervise internal and external SAP module consultants.

- Act as the single point of contact for SAP-related business requirements, escalations, and strategic initiatives.

- Lead SAP enhancement projects, upgrades, rollouts, and process automation initiatives.

- Prepare and present monthly SAP project status reports to the Steering Committee and Senior Management.

- Provide regular updates on SAP performance, open issues, user adoption, enhancements, cost optimization opportunities, and upgrade recommendations.

- Ensure timely resolution of SAP-related issues and conduct user training sessions.

- Maintain documentation, test scripts, SOPs, training materials, and governance documents.

EDUCATION / SKILLES / EXPERIENCE :

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

- Minimum 8–10 years of SAP consulting experience, including SAP S/4 HANA environments.

- Strong experience in SAP PP implementation, rollout, support, and enhancement projects.

- Experience leading cross-functional SAP teams and coordinating multiple SAP modules.

Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
