Job Title: SAP Global COUPA Functional Lead

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Global COUPA Functional Lead to support Sony's global procurement and spend management platform across America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in COUPA S2P, procurement processes, SAP S/4HANA integration, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, configuration, and administration of the COUPA platform.
- Manage and support end-to-end Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Configure procurement, invoicing, supplier management, approval workflows, and payment processes within COUPA.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable COUPA solutions.
- Work closely with SAP S/4HANA and MuleSoft teams to define and support end-to-end integrations.
- Support functional enhancements, upgrades, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Drive defect analysis, root cause investigation, and resolution of production issues.
- Coordinate integration testing and validate business process flows across multiple systems.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation, process flows, and configuration guides.




- Partner with global teams and service providers to ensure successful project delivery.

Mandatory Skills
- 6-8 years of experience in COUPA Functional Consulting.
- Solid experience in COUPA Procurement, Invoicing, Supplier Management, and Spend Management.
- Hands-on experience in COUPA configuration and administration.
- Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay (S2P) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Experience integrating COUPA with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, and Supply Chain processes.
- Experience with approval workflows, user roles, supplier onboarding, and invoice processing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with COUPA Analytics and Reporting.
- Exposure to REST APIs, GraphQL, or integration technologies.
- Knowledge of MuleSoft integrations.
- Understanding of Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Reporting platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Python is an added advantage.
- Experience working in global support and implementation environments.

Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
