Position: SAP BTP CAP Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP CAP Developer with strong full-stack development expertise to design, develop, and deploy scalable enterprise applications and SAP extensions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The candidate will work extensively with the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and integrate cloud applications with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP BTP services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable CAP-based applications and services on SAP BTP.
- Develop business logic and backend services using the SAP CAP Framework with Node.js and/or Java.
- Build and consume APIs and services for seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems.
- Develop event publishers and consumers using Node.js and SAP development tools such as SAP Build Code.
- Integrate applications with SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Integration Suite, and other BTP services.
- Design and implement microservices-based cloud applications following enterprise architecture and development best practices.
- Implement Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) concepts including CQRS, Eventual Consistency, and Outbox Pattern.
- Troubleshoot, optimize,



and enhance application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, DevOps teams, and other technical stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Mandatory Skills:

- Solid hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP CAP.
- Strong programming experience in Node.js and/or Java.
- Hands-on experience with SAP CAP Framework and CAP service development.
- Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Integration Suite.
- Experience integrating SAP BTP applications with SAP S/4HANA.
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture.
- Hands-on understanding of Event-Driven Architecture, including CQRS, Eventual Consistency, and Outbox Pattern.
- Experience developing event publishers/consumers and working with APIs/events.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application development and cloud-native architecture.

Good to Have:

- Experience with SAP Advanced Event Mesh (AEM).
- Knowledge of Event Brokers and Kafka.
- Experience with cloud application deployment, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to SAP BTP security, authentication, authorization, and monitoring.
