About the Role

HCLTech is looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BODS, SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, AutoSys, SQL Server, and CMC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in end-to-end SAP data migration projects, working with both SAP and non-SAP legacy systems to support successful S/4HANA transformations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.

Perform data migration from SAP and non-SAP legacy systems to SAP S/4HANA on-premise environments.

Design, develop, and implement data migration solutions using SAP Data Services (BODS) and SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit.

Prepare data mapping documents, migration technical specifications, and reconciliation reports.

Build and maintain ETL processes, workflows, and data transformation logic.

Collaborate closely with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure data quality and migration success.

Understand end-to-end business processes and data dependencies across master and transactional data objects.

Required Skills & Experience

9+ years of experience in SAP Data Migration projects.

Strong experience with





SAP Data Services (BODS)

SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit

SQL Server

AutoSys

CMC (Central Management Console)

Experience in at least 4 SAP Data Migration projects involving SAP Data Services (BODS) and Migration Cockpit.

Hands-on experience in minimum 2 full-cycle SAP migration implementations.

Strong knowledge of ETL design, development, and deployment.

Expertise in migration tools including:

LTMC (Legacy Transfer Migration Cockpit)

LTMOM (Migration Object Modeler)

Hands-on experience with BODS Designer components:

Projects

Data Flows

Scripts

Data Stores

File Formats

Experience working across SAP business process areas such as:

Order to Cash (O2C)

Make to Stock (M2S)

Source to Pay (S2P)

Business to Partner (B2P)

Solid understanding of master data and transactional data migration.

Excellent functional analysis, requirement gathering, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of SAP Information Steward.

Experience with data quality, governance, and reconciliation frameworks.
