We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sales Person to manage and expand our school book sales business in Varanasi and nearby territories.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and grow school book sales across Varanasi and assigned territories.
- Visit schools and meet Principals, School Management, Coordinators, and Teachers.
- Promote academic books, educational publications, and other school-focused learning solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, distributors, dealers, and booksellers.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
- Conduct product presentations and book demonstrations at schools.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order closure.
- Maintain regular school visits, customer records, and Daily Sales Reports (DSR).
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams for order processing and timely delivery.
- Participate in book fairs, exhibitions, seminars, and other promotional activities.

Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline is mandatory.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in School Book Sales is mandatory.




- Candidates must have proven experience in selling books to schools and educational institutions.
- Robust knowledge of the Varanasi and surrounding school market.
- Existing relationships with schools, distributors, dealers, or booksellers will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong target-oriented and business development approach.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- 4 years of experience in School Book Sales / Educational Publishing Sales.
- Strong network among schools and educational institutions.
- Experience handling institutional sales and territory development.
- Good understanding of the local education market.
- Ability to independently manage the assigned territory and achieve sales targets.
