Summary:

As a Data Modeler, Supports the onshore Data Modeler in designing and refining enterprise data models by contributing to detailed schema definitions, field-level mappings, and source-to-target conversion documentation. Collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical data structures, with a strong focus on cloud-based data platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Assist in developing logical and physical data models, including schema design for reporting and analytical platforms




Perform detailed field mapping between source and target systems to support data migration, integration, and transformation efforts
Document and maintain source schema definitions, conversion rules, and data lineage artifacts
Create and update Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) to represent data relationships in the Reporting Data Model
Develop and maintain comprehensive data dictionaries, including business definitions, data types, constraints, and metadata attributes
Leverage solid exposure to AWS Data Services such as Amazon S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, and EMR to support cloud-based data modeling and transformation requirements
Ensure data consistency, quality, and governance standards are adhered to across all modeling and documentation activities
Partner with SMEs, developers, and business stakeholders to validate data structures and mapping logic
Support impact analysis and change management for schema updates and enhancements
