Treasury works closely with senior management, the businesses, Country CEOs / CFOs, and Finance to manage and promote the bank’s liquidity, capital, and balance sheet position. Within Treasury (which comprises Capital, Liquidity & Markets), the Treasury Liquidity function is responsible for driving the strategic liquidity agenda and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Booking (‘IRRBB’).
The Director IRRBB, India hub will play a pivot role in supporting the Head of IRRBB, India in advancing IRRBB Analytics for overseeing and executing comprehensive internal analyses. The role holder will help in migrating and centralising global IRRBB processes from Group and Clusters, performing detailed stress tests and scenario analyses, leveraging IRRBB data to provide insightful risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
This position requires a deep understanding of IRRBB, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Keep up to date with the Group’s business strategy (incl. SC Ventures) and ensure the liquidity, IRRBB & FTP frameworks are aligned to that.
Partner with Global Head of IRRBB in developing and recommending risk mitigation strategies based on the findings from stress tests and scenario analyses. Ensure that these strategies are effectively communicated and implemented across relevant business units.
Business
Keep up to date with the Group’s business strategy (incl. SC Ventures) and ensure the IRRBB frameworks are aligned to that.
Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market workplace in which the Group operates, with a focus on the Group’s participation in the Digital Assets and platforms space.
