We are seeking a Product Owner to join our product team and take ownership of translating our travel tech vision into a well-managed, actionable product backlog. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between business objectives and the development team, ensuring that features are clearly defined, prioritised, and delivered to meet user needs. As Product Owner, you will deeply understand Rhia's AI-driven travel platform and our customers (from end travellers to industry partners), using that knowledge to write user stories and acceptance criteria that guide our Agile development sprints. You'll work closely with the product manager, designers, and engineers to make sure each iteration of the product brings us closer to a seamless, intelligent travel solution. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-orientated, customer-focused, and excited about leveraging SaaS and AI capabilities to create a world-class travel product.

Responsibilities

Backlog management: Own and maintain the product backlog for your product area. Write explicit,



comprehensive user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, focusing on features that enhance the travel user experience and leverage our AI capabilities.
Sprint planning and Agile process: Lead backlog grooming and prioritisation sessions. Work with the Scrum Master and engineering teams to plan sprints, ensuring that the highest-value features are developed in the proper sequence. Adjust priorities based on feedback and changing needs, keeping the team focused and productive.
Requirement gathering: Collaborate with the product manager and stakeholders (sales, customer success, and travel industry partners) to gather requirements and translate high-level ideas into detailed product specifications. Ensure that business goals, user needs, and technical feasibility are all balanced in planning.
