Sanctions Screening – Senior associate, Team lead , Assistant manager

Location – Mumbai/ Chennai/ Gandhinagar

Key Responsibilities 4 + years of experience Sanctions Screening Review and investigate system-generated sanctions alerts arising from SWIFT and domestic payment transactions.

Perform sanctions screening checks by verifying customers, counterparties, and transactions against applicable sanctions lists and regulations.

Analyse business activities and transaction details to determine the legitimacy and relevance of potential sanctions matches.

Identify, document, and recommend ignore rules or pattern-based exceptions to reduce recurring false-positive alerts.

Ensure all sanctions alerts and cases are reviewed, escalated, and resolved within established service level agreements (SLAs).

Maintain accurate records of investigations, decisions, and supporting documentation in accordance with compliance and audit requirements.

Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Risk Management teams to strengthen sanctions screening controls and support regulatory compliance initiatives.
