About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Test Engineer with hands-on experience in functional, integration, regression, and API testing of Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Salesforce modules, integrations, testing processes, and quality assurance methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test cases for Salesforce applications, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Perform API testing using REST/SOAP APIs with tools such as Postman and Swagger .
- Validate Salesforce customizations, workflows, triggers, Lightning components, and custom objects.
- Test Salesforce integrations and data flows across various systems.
- Conduct testing across Salesforce Clouds, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud .
- Collaborate with developers, Salesforce administrators, and product teams to understand business requirements and ensure smooth product delivery.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, test case reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
- Perform backend data validation using SOQL/SOSL and SQL queries where required.

Requirements

- 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Testing .




- Strong knowledge of Salesforce functional, integration, regression, and API testing.
- Good understanding of Salesforce Lightning UI, custom objects, workflows, triggers, and integrations .
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger .
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and Agile methodologies .
- Knowledge of Selenium or other automation testing tools.
- Basic knowledge of Java and Apex .
- Good understanding of SQL and query writing.
- Robust analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Salesforce automation testing tools such as Provar, Tosca, or Selenium .
- Salesforce certification or experience working with Sales Cloud .
- Knowledge of Salesforce release management and deployment processes.
- Exposure to browser developer tools, Charles Proxy, or Fiddler .
- Experience with Salesforce automation frameworks and test scripting.
