Roles & Responsibilities
Drive the automation processes for AUTOMOTIVE EMIA TE locations for planning and managing the workload for end‑to‑end (E2E) new product development and sustaining activities (including First Article Inspection, post-tool correction dimensional validation, and PPAP measurement reports).
Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify improvement opportunities and support their implementation.
Collaborate closely with the IT Development team to design and implement new digital applications and automation projects
Partner with the line managers of the Metrology Centers to define performance objectives aligned with the organization’s roadmap and conduct periodic reviews for continuous improvement.
Automate the NPD (Current Product Development) and Sustaining GDMFR processes to minimize manual intervention, improve efficiency, reduce errors, and accelerate delivery timelines.
Plan and allocate resources in collaboration with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supplier Development effectively, ensuring proper prioritization of key activities.
Desired Candidate
Diploma or bachelor’s degree or postgraduate (BE or M.Tech) in mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
6+ years of engineering experience and with more than 2 years of experience in supervising and leading Metrology team
