Role Description The Mergers and Acquisitions Specialist role at Vertex Group is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The specialist will identify and evaluate potential acquisition and investment opportunities, conduct financial and strategic analysis, and support deal origination.



Day-to-day responsibilities include performing comprehensive due diligence, reviewing financial statements, coordinating valuation models, and preparing transaction proposals and presentations. The role will collaborate closely with finance, legal, and senior leadership to support negotiations, structure deals, and ensure smooth integration planning. The specialist will also monitor market trends, maintain deal pipelines, and contribute to strategic recommendations that align with Vertex Group’s growth objectives.
Qualifications
Strong Analytical Skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and operational data and develop clear insights.
Solid Finance knowledge, including corporate finance, valuation methods, and capital structure concepts.
Hands-on experience in Due Diligence for M&A; or investment transactions, covering financial, operational, and compliance aspects.
