Our client, a leading Indian organization with a strong presence across pharmaceuticals and consumer healthcare, is seeking an accomplished Business Unit leader to spearhead a high-growth business vertical. This role offers end-to-end ownership of business performance, portfolio growth, commercial strategy, and organizational leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall business strategy with end-to-end ownership of revenue, profitability, and sustainable growth.
Drive commercial excellence across Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Market Access.
Develop and execute portfolio, brand, and go-to-market strategies.
Lead annual business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
Drive new product launches and lifecycle management.
Strengthen market share and profitability through data-driven business decisions.
Partner with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR.




Build and mentor high-performing leadership teams while developing a strong succession pipeline.
Foster strategic relationships with key external stakeholders and healthcare professionals.

Must-Have Experience
25+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven experience leading a Business Unit or equivalent leadership role with full P&L; responsibility.
Strong exposure across both Sales and Marketing functions.
Demonstrated success in leading large field-force organizations and commercial teams.
Expertise in brand management, portfolio strategy, and commercial excellence.
Robust leadership, stakeholder management, and people development capabilities.
Consistent track record of delivering business growth and profitability.

Preferred Experience
Exposure to OTC, Consumer Healthcare, FMCG, or Nutrition businesses.
Experience driving digital transformation and omnichannel commercial strate
