Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms that power business intelligence, analytics, and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, AWS, SQL, and modern data engineering practices, with experience building high-performance data pipelines and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
Build and optimize data solutions using Python, AWS, SQL, and Snowflake.
Modernize legacy data platforms and support on-premises to cloud migration initiatives.
Develop scalable data models, preferably using Kimball dimensional modeling.
Ensure data quality, governance, reliability, and performance across data platforms.
Cloud & Platform Engineering
Work with AWS services including Redshift, S3, Athena, and Glue (preferred).
Optimize cloud-based data warehouses and distributed data processing systems.




Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow data engineering best practices.
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.
Translate business requirements into technical designs.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering standards, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (MSSQL/MySQL).
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Hands-on experience with AWS data services (Redshift, S3, Athena); exposure to Snowflake and AWS Glue is preferred.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and dimensional modeling (Kimball preferred).
Experience with cloud migration and up-to-date data architectures.
AWS Data Analytics/ML certification is a plus.
