Assist in planning and executing statutory, internal, and tax audits for clients across diverse sectors
Verify financial statements, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance
Conduct vouching, verification, and reconciliation of accounts
Prepare audit working papers, checklists, and documentation as per firm standards
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, auditing standards, and statutory regulations (Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, etc.)
Identify discrepancies, control weaknesses, and areas of risk, and report findings to seniors/partners
Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements
Coordinate with client teams to gather required information and resolve audit queries
Support in drafting audit reports and management letters
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
