Job Summary
The Factory HR Manager is responsible for managing all human resource functions at the manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with labour laws, supports workforce planning, maintains employee relations, oversees recruitment and onboarding, drives performance management, and fosters a safe, productive, and positive work workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Workforce Planning
Manage end-to-end recruitment for factory and staff positions.
Coordinate manpower planning with production and department heads.
Conduct onboarding and induction for new employees.
Maintain adequate staffing levels to meet production requirements.
Employee Relations
Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
Promote positive employee engagement and workplace culture.
Facilitate communication between management and employees.
Support conflict resolution and maintain industrial harmony.

Payroll & HR Operations
Monitor attendance, leave, overtime, and shift schedules.
Coordinate payroll inputs with the payroll team.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Ensure timely issuance of appointment letters, ID cards, confirmations, transfers, and separation documents.
Performance Management
Coordinate performance appraisal processes.
Support managers in setting KPIs and development plans.
Identify training needs and implement learning initiatives.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and factory regulations.
Manage statutory records, registers, and returns.
Coordinate inspections and audits by government authorities.
Ensure compliance related to PF, ESI, gratuity, contract labour, and other statutory requirements.
Industrial Relations
Maintain healthy relationships with workers and union representatives (where applicable).
