Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and industry-experienced VFX Faculty member to join our elite team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a robust foundation in overall visual effects production, with a strong, specialized command over SideFX Houdini. You will be responsible for mentoring the next generation of VFX artists, guiding them from foundational concepts to advanced agile simulations and portfolio creation.

Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Mentorship: Deliver engaging, structured lectures and practical, hands-on lab sessions covering the comprehensive MAAC VFX curriculum.
Houdini Specialization: Deeply train students in Houdini workflows, including procedural modeling, destruction (RBD), particles (POPs), fluids (FLIP), volumes/pyro,



and look development.
Portfolio & Showreel Guidance: Guide senior students through their capstone projects, ensuring their showreels meet top-tier studio expectations.
Curriculum Execution: Maintain tracking of syllabus completion, assign practical student assessments, and provide constructive feedback on technical and creative work.
Industry Readiness: Keep students updated on current studio pipelines, industry workflows, and best production practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Mastery: Exceptional proficiency in SideFX Houdini is mandatory. Strong working knowledge of other industry-standard tools like Autodesk Maya, Nuke, or Substance Painter is highly desirable.
Production Core: Strong understanding of dynamics, simulations, proceduralism, lighting, rendering (Mantra/Karma/Arnold), and compositing basics.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a VFX Artist in a product
