Octave is hiring a Technical Product Manager to own product and technical strategy for Facets P&ID; (previously Smart P&ID;). This role drives roadmap execution, defines requirements, partners closely with engineering, understands customer workflows, and helps build cloud-native engineering solutions for the industrial design and engineering domain.
The Technical Product Manager owns product-level Jobs-To-Be-Done from a domain perspective, understands personas and journeys across the product, and stays fluent in product telemetry — usage, journey progression, job outcomes, product feedback and business outcomes.
Strategic Ownership & Decision-Making
Co-accountable with the product PM for what gets built and the outcomes it drives at product level
Own and prioritize product backlog
Break down product strategy into user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria
Provide technical and domain input to the product roadmap.
Collaboration & Interaction
Own product-level customer relationships,
including leading customer-facing technical engagements
Conduct workshops, demos, and user research
Partner with the product PM to define a transparent product vision and roadmap
Partner with Engineering and UX for product implementation.
