We are looking for an experienced GST & Taxation Manager to oversee the organisation indirect and direct taxation functions, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations while optimizing tax efficiency. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, and tax planning, with prior experience in the Manufacturing, Scaffolding, Metals, Iron & Steel, or Engineering industry.
The candidate should possess sound knowledge of taxation laws, ERP systems (preferably SAP), and statutory compliance, and be capable of handling assessments, audits, reconciliations, and interactions with tax authorities.

Key Responsibilities
GST Compliance
Manage end-to-end GST compliance, including timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.
Ensure accurate GST accounting and reconciliation with books of accounts.
Reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B and resolve mismatches.
Handle GST registration, amendments, refunds, notices, departmental audits, and assessments.
Ensure compliance with e-invoicing and e-way bill requirements.




Provide GST advisory on procurement, sales, imports, exports, and inter-state transactions.
Direct Taxation
Ensure compliance with TDS provisions, timely deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns.
Support Income Tax return preparation and coordinate tax assessments.
Monitor advance tax, tax provisioning, and deferred tax calculations.
Liaise with external tax consultants and auditors.
Audit & Statutory Compliance
Coordinate internal, statutory, GST, and tax audits.
Prepare documentation required for departmental inspections and assessments.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, notifications, and amendments.
Maintain statutory records and documentation.
Financial Controls & Reporting
Perform monthly tax reconciliations and prepare tax MIS reports.
Review accounting entries related to taxes.
Identify tax risks and recommend corrective actions.
Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
