Responsibilities
Position Purpose
We are seeking a Java Backend Developer (Mid-Level) to contribute to the development of our next-generation financial platform and the foundation of StoneX's global client platform transformation. In this role, you will build scalable and secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot, collaborating closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers,



and senior engineers to deliver high-quality financial solutions.
Primary Responsibilities Backend Development • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot. • Build RESTful APIs and microservices. • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code. • Participate throughout the SDLC from design to deployment.
API Development & Integration • Design and implement RESTful APIs following best practices. • Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts and support BFF/API integration. • Implement validation, pagination, error handling, and secure API design. • Integrate with internal and third-party services.
Performance & Reliability • Develop scalable, low-latency backend services. • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. • Contribute to application stability and performance improvements.
Data & Messaging • Work with relational databases and schema versioning tool
