About the Team
You’ll join a cooperative engineering team that builds and improves full-stack software solutions for UKG products and customers. We work closely with product owners, engineers, and business partners to understand customer needs, design practical solutions, and deliver reliable software that supports real-world workforce challenges.
About the Role
As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll design, build, test, and support high-quality full-stack applications.
You’ll work with your team to define, elaborate, and complete epics and stories, while helping shape technical solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to business needs.
You’ll also:
• Design and implement full-stack solutions using technologies such as JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, CSS, VB.NET, and PostgreSQL.
• Contribute to architecture decisions for projects related to business structure, job assignment, and related product capabilities.
• Write clean, testable, efficient code in a continuous integration environment.
• Analyze complex issues across the application stack, from database to browser, and deliver practical, effective solutions.
• Take ownership of the delivery and quality of the code your team produces.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and shared development practices.
