Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead electrical design projects from concept to transfer for medical device systems.
Develop and validate complex electric schematics, PCB designs, and cable/harness designs.
Specify electronic components and ensure design for manufacturability and testability (DFM/DFT).
Perform failure analyses and investigation reports; drive corrective actions to improve product reliability.
Conduct technical reviews, guide engineers/technicians, and coordinate with suppliers for technical support.
Skills Required:
Minimum 12+ years of experience with BSEE; preferred 8+ years with MSEE.
PCB design and electric schematics development for medical devices.
Analog & digital circuit design expertise and practical validation.
Proficiency with Cadence and Orcad for schematic/PCB workflows.
DFM/DFT knowledge, PSPICE familiarity, and electrical safety/ESD understanding; hands-on testing with oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Visio for documentation and design artifacts.
Valuable to Have:
BOM (bill of materials) ownership and component-level documentation.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
