Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, microservices, and contemporary engineering practices for building secure, high-performing systems.

Key Responsibilities

? Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.

? Participate in solution design, technical estimation, and architecture discussions for new features and enhancements.

? Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while following coding standards and best practices.

? Perform code reviews,



identify technical risks, and contribute to improving overall code quality.

? Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexes for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

? Integrate third-party services, APIs, and internal microservices.

? Ensure application security, performance, reliability, and scalability by following modern engineering practices.

? Troubleshoot production issues, participate in incident response, and implement long-term fixes.

? Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to deliver high-quality features.

Qualifications

✔ 4–5+ years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js.

✔ Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with frameworks such as Express.js or similar.

✔ Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and Node.js internals.
