As a Diagnostics Engineer, you will redefine the future of turbo compressor & expander (from GAP division) maintenance by harnessing the power of IoT, AI, and advanced diagnostics. Leveraging data from SMARTLINK IoT technology, you’ll remotely analyze machine performance, anticipate issues, and deliver insights that drive reliability, efficiency, and cost optimization. Your expertise will empower GAP product companies / customer centers globally to achieve unparalleled operational excellence.
Roles
What You’ll Do, short- and mid-term
Data-Driven Analysis:
Conduct detailed operation data analysis of IoT data uploads to ensure compressor & expander systems performance and uptime.
Drive improvements opportunities in safety, reliability, and productivity for customer installations.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Offer proactive remote support for reporting and analyses.
Deliver explicit and actionable recommendations for corrective and preventive maintenance, following GAP maintenance intervals.
Global Collaboration:
Work closely with technical and engineering teams in product company AC-Energas in Cologne and/or Divisional development team.
Provide input to enhance IoT platform logic and algorithms, shaping the next generation of diagnostics.
Continuous Improvement:
Follow up on recommended solutions to ensure effectiveness.
Gather field feedback to refine diagnostic tools and processes, driving higher system accuracy and efficiency.
What You’ll Do, Long-term
Algorithm Development & Validation:
Contribute to the design, validation, and execution of advanced predictive and prescriptive maintenance algorithms for compressors & expanders.
Help evolve diagnostic intelligence to predict potential failures and optimize uptime.
Shift-Based Support:
This role follows a structured shift schedule, planned to ensure 24×7 diagnostic support.
