Qualifications & Experience

Education: Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Industrial) or equivalent
Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in vendor engineering, preferably in manufacturing (e.g., CNC turning, grinding, milling, boring, hardening)
Technical Skills:
Proficient in reading engineering drawings
Familiar with manufacturing processes (CNC machining, surface finishing, heat treatment)
Basic computer skills (MS Excel for data analysis & reporting)
Vendor Management:
Experience identifying, evaluating, and developing new suppliers
Ability to assess vendor capabilities, quality standards, and production capacity
Proven track record in vendor performance evaluation (quality, cost, delivery, service)
Skill in negotiating pricing, payment terms, and contracts to drive cost-effectiveness
Soft Skills:
Robust coordination abilities with internal teams and external vendors
Detail-oriented with ability to ensure timely material availability
