About the Role
We are looking for a Shopify-focused Ecommerce Web Developer to manage, optimize, and enhance our D2C website experience. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing ecommerce websites and a strong understanding of how website performance impacts customer acquisition, conversion, retention, and overall revenue growth.
This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with a commercial mindset and understands the nuances of managing a premium personal care brand online.
Key Responsibilities
Shopify Website Management
Manage and maintain the Shopify storefront
Implement current pages, features, and functionality
Troubleshoot website issues and ensure site stability
Manage theme customizations and app integrations
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
Identify conversion bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
Improve product pages, collection pages, and checkout flows
Build and optimize landing pages for paid marketing campaigns
Conduct A/B tests and analyze performance
Website Performance & User Experience
Optimize website speed and Core Web Vitals
Improve mobile-first user experience
Ensure seamless navigation and customer journeys
Implement UI/UX best practices to improve engagement and conversions
Analytics & Tracking
Manage GA4 implementation and reporting
Configure and maintain Meta Pixel, Google Ads tracking, and Conversion APIs
Monitor ecommerce performance metrics and customer behavior
Create dashboards and reports for key website KPIs
SEO & Website Visibility
Implement technical SEO best practices
Manage site architecture, redirects, schema, and indexing
Collaborate with content teams on SEO improvements
Understanding of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) will be an added advantage
