Position Summary

The Associate Professor (Level D) will provide academic and research leadership within the School of Health Sciences, with a robust focus on advancing allied health research, education, and clinical translation. The role will contribute to the delivery and development of research teaching across a range of health professional disciplines, including Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmacy, Exercise Science and Exercise Physiology, and Physiotherapy. The position will support student learning through high-quality teaching, curriculum development, research supervision, and the coordination of research-focused learning experiences.





A key aspect of the role is the development and leadership of collaborative research initiatives with South-Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD). An honorary allied health appointment with SESLHD will foster relationships and facilitate development of a strong research partnership across organisations. The Associate Professor will lead the growth of applied and translational research programs that align with health service priorities, support clinician-researcher development, and strengthen allied health research capability across both the University and health service sectors. The role will also contribute to the translation and implementation of evidence into clinical practice.
