Role: Electronics Manufacturing Engineer

Employment Type: Full Time

Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/M.S/M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, production engineering, or AIT within aerospace, automotive, electronics, or defence industries. Experience working with PCB assemblies, batteries, solar panels, or similar electronic subsystems is highly desirable.

Role Description

Electronics Manufacturing Engineer in the Production group of the Space Department at Pixxel.

Responsibilities & Duties

As a part of Pixxel’s Production group, you will be responsible for end-to-end manufacturing of electronic subsystems, including PCBs, batteries, solar panels, and associated assemblies.
You will own and manage Bill of Materials (BOM), including structure definition, version control, and alignment with design updates and manufacturing requirements.
You will be responsible for production planning and execution,



ensuring the timely availability of materials, capacity planning, and adherence to build schedules across multiple programs.
You will coordinate with vendors and suppliers for the manufacturing, procurement, and qualification of electronic components and assemblies.
You will track and drive production KPIs such as yield, throughput, cycle time, and defect rates, and implement improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
You will ensure safety and quality compliance during all stages of manufacturing, including process checks, inspections, and adherence to defined standards and procedures.
You will work closely with design, AIT, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve manufacturing issues and support product realization.
You will identify manufacturing risks, drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve product reliability and process robustness.
