Scope and Responsibilities
Based in Hyderabad and reporting to the Senior Vice-President, Legal (Singapore / Asia),



this is a new role within Oaktree's expanding Asia legal team. The chosen candidate will be primarily responsible for providing legal advice in respect of Oaktree's APAC investment platform, including regulated entities, inbound investment structures and portfolio company matters.
Responsibilities will include:
Assist on transactions varying in scale and scope, primarily distressed debt, real estate and special situations transactions within India; key geographies currently include India, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore and the Middle East;
Support the broader APAC legal team on transactions across the region, partnering closely with Oaktree investment teams, portfolio managers and corporate legal colleagues in Los Angeles, London, Hong Kong and Singapore;
Advise on and support the structuring, establishment and ongoing maintenance of India-regulated investment vehicles, i
