Team Overview
The team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mission-critical backend applications and services that support TransUnion's data and analytics platforms. These solutions process large volumes of data in real time and enable reliable, scalable products used by customers across multiple industries.

This team operates within an Agile Scrum workplace and partners closely with Product, Architecture, Data Engineering, QA, and Operations teams to deliver secure, high-quality software. The role reports through the Engineering organization under the Manager of Software Development. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, building, and supporting scalable backend applications that enable business growth, operational efficiency, and product innovation.



This role provides technical leadership within the Scrum team while contributing hands-on software development expertise.
Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications and services using C# and .NET technologies.
Lead the implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that support large-scale data processing and customer-facing products.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs and deliverable solutions.
Drive improvements in software quality through automated testing, code reviews, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Participate in architecture discussions and make recommendations regarding application design, performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.
