We are seeking a talented individual to join our Employee Health & Benefits team at Marsh Risk India, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Chennai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Assistant Vice President – Employee Health & Benefits
We will count on you to:
Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to clients, showcasing findings and recommendations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and point of contact.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to provide informed guidance.
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks for clients.
Develop and implement strategic plans tailored to client needs, ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
Benchmark survey data for client plans, summarize and validate reviewed information.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that address client challenges.




Support business development efforts by identifying potential clients and contributing to proposal development.
Identify opportunities to cross sell products and services to current clients.
Participate in prospecting opportunities with new clients aiding the sales team.
Collaborate with other teams such as "EB Practice", "Placement" for Client RFP, Plan Renewal and Implementation processes.
Identify and understand negotiable elements of underwriting calculations for all lines of coverage.
Contribute to the development of new value proposition, products, tools and approaches.
Support the Versatile benefits function and spearhead the consulting for the same for Chennai region.
Support the OPD function and spearhead the consulting for the same for Chennai region.
What you need to have:
10+ years of experience in insurance industry, insurance broking or TPA.
Ability to manage diverse client Cultures of
