The opportunity
Unity’s Accounting team is looking to hire a Senior Accountant who will be an integral part of our team. This role will have an immediate impact on our month-end close process as well as strengthening our overall accounting processes within the organization. The candidate should have general accounting knowledge and experience in some of the following areas: intercompany, treasury, and leasing among other topics.

This is a hybrid role based in our Bangalore office. This position requires working during late evening hours from 2 PM to 11 PM (IST), with a 1-hour lunch break included. Are you available to work during these Non-Shift hours?
What you'll be doing
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with US GAAP.
Perform monthly P&L; and Balance Sheet flux analysis - Support management with company financial activities such as month, quarter and year end close
Work with external auditors on matters relating to the annual and quarterly financial statement audit
Identify and Partner with finance and other departments on various projects, including development and improvement of manual processes
Business combination like Merger, Dissolution between related parties accounting experience
What we're looking for
Corporate accounting experience

Basic USGAAP accounting knowledge
Experience to handle close activities and prepare required schedules for external auditors
GL scrutiny, Flux analysis and ability to investigate and provide reason for variance and accounting entries
