We are seeking a visionary and execution-oriented VP of Platform Engineering & Operations to lead our India-based technology hub. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for bridging the gap between cutting-edge platform engineering and world-class operational excellence.
You will lead a multi-disciplinary team focused on building resilient, self-healing platforms while overseeing global Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support.
The ideal candidate isn't just an "operator" but a builder who views every manual task as an automation prospect and every cost as a FinOps challenge to be optimized.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & People Management
Site Leadership: Act as the primary lead for the India Platform & Ops organization, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Talent Development: Hire, mentor, and retain top-tier engineering talent, building a high-performing team capable of supporting global scale.
Performance Management: Drive organizational success through a rigorous OKR (Objectives and Key Results) framework and clear KPIs (MTTR, MTTD, Change Success Rate, etc.).
2. Operations & Reliability
Global Support: Oversee Tier 1 and Tier 2 operational support functions, ensuring 24/7 availability and adherence to strict SLAs.
Incident Management: Lead the strategy for major incident response and post-mortem analysis to prevent recurrence.
