Must Have:
Managing and supporting IBM WebSphere MQ (now IBM MQ) messaging software, including installation, configuration, security, and troubleshooting. Key responsibilities include maintaining the reliability and performance of MQ systems, handling production support, and addressing incident and problem management.
Setting up and configuring MQ queue managers, queues, channels, and listeners,



ensuring proper integration with applications and other systems.
Providing technical support for MQ environments, including troubleshooting issues, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability.
Implementing and maintaining security measures for MQ, including user authentication, access controls, and encryption.
Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks in MQ systems, optimizing configuration for optimal performance.
Diagnosing and resolving production issues, collaborating with developers and other teams to resolve problems effectively.
Setting up and monitoring MQ systems for performance and availability issues, implementing alerting mechanisms to identify and address problems proactively.
Managing incidents and problems related to MQ, following established processes for resolution.
Developing and maintaining scripts for automating MQ administration tasks.
