We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in either Python or Scala, along with experience designing distributed systems, developing RESTful APIs, and working with cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python or Scala.
Build secure, reliable, and high-performing RESTful APIs and microservices.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments.
Required Skills
5+ years of backend development experience.




Strong proficiency in either Python or Scala (expertise in one is sufficient).
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
Experience with message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with event-driven or distributed system architectures.
Exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
Experience with automated testing frameworks and performance optimization.
Understanding of security best practices for backend applications.
