Job Objective

Carry out mechanical maintenance as per schedule of utility equipment (water system, HVAC system, vacuum pump, air compressor, hot water generator/boiler, Kathabar, pumps, cooling tower etc.), mucilage preparation equipment, HCM mechanical equipment, ATS equipment to deliver quality standard by desired efficiency, seamless operation and up-time

Primary responsibilities

Functional
Core
· Execute energy saving and other improvement projects as per the plan to support departmental goal
1. Ensure zero breakdown on account of mechanical failures

Ensure minimum downtime on Process equipment (HCM, mucilage preparation, ATS), utility equipment (water system, HVAC system, vacuum pump, air compressor, hot water generator/boiler, Kathabar, pumps, cooling tower etc.), HCM w.r.t. mechanicals to upkeep Process equipment / HCM by coordinating with Shift in-charge of departments
Adhere to safety guidelines
Conduct condition-based maintenance along with the mechanical and electrical works during machine shut down period




Implement action plan for mitigating the problems of system /machine after analysis from logbooks/other functional team
Update documentation related to maintenance and machine history cards
Carryout machine routine health checks as per checklist for continuous operations of all HCMs and Utility equipment’s as per schedule.
Carry out predictive / preventive maintenance by utilizing equipment / machine downtime
Ensure availability of critical spares in ready to use condition to maintain plant up-time.
Support other functions in execution of their departmental online improvement projects,

Maintain cGMP standards in shopfloor

Support reporting supervisor/Lead for preparation document related SOP, logbooks and formats
Support Engineering team to achieve budgeted ECR

2. Execute capacity expansion and other improvement projects in the facility

Support other functions in execution of their departmental projects
Implement various energy saving projects t
