Job Description Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced EHS Officer with around 8-10 years of experience in construction projects to oversee and implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) systems at site. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory safety regulations, company HSE policies, and project safety requirements while promoting a robust safety culture across the project.

About the Role
Implement project-specific HSE plans, procedures, and safety management systems.
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory regulations, client requirements, and company HSE standards.
Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits to identify unsafe conditions and practices.
Monitor day-to-day construction activities to ensure safe execution of works.
Supervise high-risk activities including:
Work at height
Lifting operations
Hot works
Confined space entry
Excavation activities
Electrical works
Ensure availability and proper use of PPE by all site personnel.
Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA/JSA) for construction activities.
Implement and monitor Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
Recommend preventive and corrective actions for identified risks.
Conduct safety induction programs for recent workers and staff.
Organize toolbox talks, safety campaigns, mock drills, and awareness sessions.
Promote safety culture and behavioral safety practices across the site.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses.
Prepare incident investigation reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain records of incidents, inspections, audits, and safety statistics.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, local labor laws, client HSE requirements, and project safety standards.
Maintain all HSE documentation including:
Safety inspection reports
PTW records
Training records
Equipment inspection logs
Emergency response plans
Coordinate statutory inspections and audits.
