About The Role: We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Area Manager for LEAD Group’s Publishing business. The Area Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships and expanding our customer base in the assigned territory. The candidate should possess excellent negotiation, client handling, key account management, and relationship building skills. Additionally, strong problem solving abilities, analytical skills, and data orientation are essential. Proficiency in using computer applications such as Excel, Google Office Suite, Word, and Powerpoint is required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
● Deliver on assigned targets, ensuring successful achievement of sales goals
● Understand school profiles, target audiences, and product offerings to effectively position our solutions
● Develop new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing deals with schools for K-12 print and digital resources
● Cross-sell products to existing customers and identify and build relationships with new prospects
● Follow through the sales process from prospecting to fulfillment, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage
● Nurture and maintain relationships with schools to drive repeat business and foster long-term partnerships
● Continuously expand the school base by identifying and engaging current potential customers
● Collaborate closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities, including seminars, workshops, and product launches
● Develop sales and marketing strategies to drive sales growth and achieve targets in the assigned area
● Establish and manage efficient distribution network to improve sales performance and ensure timely product delivery
● Conduct market research to understand competitors, market trends and gather information on competitor activities in the territory
● Manage and update prospect and customer lists
