Role Overview
The Sales & Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, acquiring key accounts, building and leading a sales team, and creating scalable sales processes. The ideal candidate should have a solid professional network, an active prospect list, and proven experience in B2B sales and team building within a startup or growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company's sales and business development strategy.
Generate new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, referrals, and market outreach.
Leverage existing contacts and prospect databases to accelerate customer acquisition.
Build, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team from scratch.
Identify and acquire corporate, industrial, healthcare, education, and manufacturing clients.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and contract closures.
Establish sales processes, KPIs, reporting systems, and performance metrics.
Manage and maintain the sales pipeline using Zoho CRM tools.




Drive revenue growth and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers, procurement teams, HR managers, and facility heads.
Collaborate with design, production and other operations teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
MBA/ BBA in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
5 to 8 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Corporate Sales, or Key Account Management.
Proven experience in building and managing sales teams.
Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment is preferred.
Strong network and existing prospect database within target industries.
