Position Overview
The Associate – Validator role within the Asset Management Reporting function acts as the independent quality, control, and risk assurance layer. The primary purpose is to ensure that all reports produced for clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders are technically accurate, conceptually sound, and compliant with internal standards and regulatory expectations. The role is accountable for challenging outputs, validating assumptions, and preventing incorrect or misleading information from being released.

Job Responsibilities
Independent Validation: Perform independent reviews of reports produced by Processors, focusing on accuracy, completeness, consistency, and appropriateness.
Technical Review: Review calculations, methodologies, disclosures, narratives, and trends across reporting periods to ensure they are methodologically consistent.
Control Execution: Execute second-level controls and formally evidence all validation and sign-off activities.
Operational Oversight: Oversee daily production activities, ensure compliance with SLAs, reporting calendars,



and quality thresholds, and act as the first escalation point for operational or data issues.
Risk Management: Challenge unusual movements or overrides, identify systemic issues or recurring errors, and perform root-cause analysis for control weaknesses.
Audit & Compliance: Support internal/external audits and regulatory reviews by providing explicit explanations and documented evidence.
Leadership & Development: Coach and guide Processors and Validators on technical expectations, manage workload distribution, and support recruitment and training initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements, automation, and standardization initiatives while coordinating with global stakeholders, Data teams, and Operations.
Required Education
Post Graduate degree in Finance or a related discipline.
